Buddy groups getting together to carve jack-o-lanterns together is a 20-year tradition continued from Multi-Age Program days to RVC today — another cherished whole-school tradition featuring creativity, community and self-expression.

At Ross Valley Charter, buddy families have members from each grade-level who get together for activities during the week. Yesterday, buddies got together to design and plan their pumpkins. Today, with over 80 pumpkins donated to RVC, all of our students came out in their buddy groups to carve pumpkins together.

After carving the pumpkins (and a quick clean-up), all of our ghouls, goblins, and ghostbusters got together on the blacktop for a schoolwide dance lead by Ms. Nina and the fourth and fifth-graders.

Halloween was a wonderful day at Ross Valley Charter! We hope you and your families enjoyed the occasion.
